General certificate of secondary education/ trade college entrance qualification

Duration of training:

3 1/2 years

Contents of the training:

• Skills and knowledge of manual and mechanical material machining
• Principles of sheet metalworking
• Skills and knowledge of joining technology as well as welded, soldered, adhesive and screw connections
• Turning skills on conventional and on NC turning machine tools

After completing their training, turning mechanics at Siempelkamp work in the turning department, the small and large machining department and on drilling machines.
