Plants for surface laminating

 

 

 

 

Short-cycle laminating presses are used for the surface lamination of particleboard and MDF. Papers impregnated with melamine resin or finishing foils are used for laminating purposes. Siempelkamp supplies complete plants, including loading and unloading systems, transport, storage and packing systems.

 

 

 

Firmly established on the market is Siempelkamp’s multi-piston press for short-cycle laminating. This press concept accommodates those manufacturers who frequently need to change their processing formats. Our multi-piston press features an improved pressure and temperature distribution because:

 

 

 

  • it is equipped with twice as many pistons as a standard press,
  • the control of, and pressure build-up in, the hydraulic systems can be adjusted more precisely,
  • and it uses modified hotplatens.

 

This results in an even better surface quality of the laminated boards.

 

Precision paper laying system

Siempelkamp’s precision paper laying system was developed specifically for the manufacture of laminate flooring. This patented system features a high-precision paper laying and aligning device.

 

Inline paper laying system

This production proven handling system separates the paper from two stacks automatically and includes a device for the quick changeover of pallets. Designed for high outputs, this system is particularly suitable for the manufacture of furniture panels and in combination with a high precision paper laying system for laminate flooring.
