| Siempelkamp delivers Super Thin MDF-Plant to Indonesia | ||

On May 12th. 2008 President Director of P.T. Sumatera Prima Fibreboard Mr. Andry Pribadi and Siempelkamp signed a contract for the manufacturing, delivery and start up of a MDF super thin board line . With the addition of this new line the Family owned company will become the biggest MDF producer in Indonesia.
Sumatera Prima Fibreboard has ordered a complete production Line with a ContiRoll® Press of 23,8 meter length and 9 feet width. The equipment to be supplied starts at the wood yard all the way to the finished board storage and encompasses the full range of state of the Art Siempel-kamp Know-how and thin board technology for boards down to 1,5 mm thickness. Furthermore the contract also includes an Energy plant to be supplied by Siempelkamp Energy Systems (SES) which was integrated into the Siempelkamp Group of companies as recently as October 2007.
The location of this new thin board line will be adjacent to the existing plant in Palembang South Sumatra, Indonesia. The production will cover board thicknesses in the range of 1.5 mm up to 12 mm with a maximumoutput of 780m3 per day . Together with the existing Siempelkamp MDF Line running at an average of 480m3 per day P.T. Sumatera Prima Fibreboard will advance to become the biggest producer of MDF in Indo-nesia once the Line comes on stream early 2010. | ||
